Ingredients:
Raw banana: 2
Salt to taste
To grind:
Fennel seeds: 1 tsp
Roasted gram dal: 2 tsp
Chili powder: 2 tsp
Cumin powder: ½ tsp
Method:
Peel the raw banana and cut into thin slices (around 2 mm thickness).
Grind together all the ingredients listed under “grind”.
Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan. Add raw banana slices and cook it on low flame for 2 minutes.
Add turmeric powder and salt and cover and cook for 5 mins with mixing intermittently in between.
Once the banana looks cooked, add the powdered masala and mix it well. Add 1 tsp oil when adding the masala and mix well.
Cook for 5-6 mins on medium flame.
