I have made this Boiled Egg Chilli Fry in Chinese style and it turned out to be a very yummy dish. I wish that you try this at your place and give your feedback on this recipe. Once you make the ingredients available, it is very easy to prepare this dish.
Ingredients:
Hard Boiled Eggs – 4 (cut into halves)
Oil – 2 tbsp
Finely Chopped Garlic – 1 tbsp
Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
Green Chillies – 2 (slitted)
Finely Chopped Red Bell Pepper – ¼ cup
Finely Chopped Green Bell Pepper – ¼ cup
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Black Pepper Powder – ½ tsp
Salt – to suit one’s taste
Red Chilli Sauce – 1 tsp
Soya Sauce – 1 tsp
Tomato Sauce – 1 tbsp
Corn Flour – 1 tsp (diluted in ¼ cup of water)
Finely Chopped Spring Onion Greens – 1 tbsp
Method:
Heat the Oil in a pan. Sauté the Ginger and Garlic for a while. Add the chopped Onions and Green Chillies. Sauté till the Onions turn pink.
Add the Red and Green Peppers. Cook for 2 minutes. Add Red Chilli Powder Sauce, Black Pepper Powder and Salt. Cook for a minute. Add Chilli Sauce, Soya Sauce and Tomato Sauce. Stir fry for minute.
Add Corn Flour slurry and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes.
Add the chopped Eggs and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from the flame.
Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with Spring Onion Greens and serve hot.
