Vegetable Cheese Sandwich

One of the many variations in Sandwich is this Vegetable Cheese Sandwich – very easy to make (just about 10 minutes) if boiled Potatoes are readily available. It tastes best when eaten when it is hot or warm.

Ingredients

Bread Slices – 4

Boiled and Crumbled Potatoes – 1 cup

Onion – 1 (finely chopped)

Finely Chopped Capsicum – ¼ cup

Finely Chopped Cilantro (Dhania Leaves) – ¼ cup

Tomato – 1 (deseeded and finely chopped)

Green Chillies – 2 (Finely Chopped)

Black Pepper Powder – 1 pinch

Chat Masala – ½ tsp

Roasted Jeera Powder – ¼ tsp

Salt to taste

Butter – to toast the Bread

Cheese Slice – 2

Method

Take all the Ingredients except Bread, Butter and Cheese in a mixing bowl. Mix them well. Keep aside

Toast slightly only one side of the bread slices.

Toast one side of the bread slices.

Spread the Potato mixture on toasted side of one of the bread slice.

Place a cheese slice on top of it.

Cover with the other two bread slices and press lightly. Heat a Tawa or a girdle in medium flame. Spread some butter. Toast both sides of the Sandwich in the butter.

Serve hot with coffee or tea or juice.
