Tender Coconut gives instant energy and has a lot of health benefits. It is also a good anti-oxidant. And the bonus is that it is liked by everyone. I attempted making a Milk Shake with Tender Coconut. You need to try this at home to enjoy this creamy delicious milkshake with minimal ingredients.
Ingredients:
Chilled Tender Coconut water – 1 cup
Chilled Tender Coconut Pulp – 1 cup (chopped)
Chilled Milk – 1 cup
Sugar – 3 tbsp
Ice Cubes – few
Method:
Blend the Coconut pulp, Sugar and ginger with 1/2 cup of Tender Coconut water to a fine paste in a blender or mixer.
Add the remaining Coconut Water and Milk. Blend them again.
Transfer to glasses, add Ice Cubes and serve chilled.
Note:
You can blend it coarsely or smooth. Both taste awesome.
Adjust quantity of Sugar to suit your taste.
Use half matured Tender Coconut which has soft pulp. The milk shake would taste better.
You can add a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream at the last stage of blending.
