Ingredients:
Cilantro: 1 bunch finely chopped
Green peas: ½ cup
Coriander powder: 1 tsp
Chili powder: ½ tsp
Cumin powder: ½ tsp
Chickpea powder (besan): 2 tbsp.
Salt to taste
To temper:
Oil: 1 and ½ tbsp.
Mustard seeds: ½ tsp
Cumin seeds: ½ tsp
Curry leaves: 8-9
Onion: 1 finely chopped
Green chilies: 3-4 coarsely crushed
Grated coconut: 3 tbsp.
Method:
Cook the green peas and crush a little.
Take the crushed peas in a bowl. Add all the ingredients listed in the “Ingredients” section and mix well.
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds. Once it splutters, add cumin seeds and curry leaves. Then add green chilies and onions and stir till onions get translucent. Add the green peas mixture and stir well.
Cover with a lid and cook on low flame for 10 mins. Once done, add the grated coconut and stir well.
