Ingredients:
Green peas: ½ cup
Cauliflower: ½ cup finely chopped
Onion: 1 finely chopped
To grind:
Coconut: ¼ cup grated
Green chilies: 3
Whole black pepper: ¼ tsp
To temper:
Oil: 2 tsp
Mustard seeds: ½ tsp
Cumin seeds: ½ tsp
Urad dal: ½ tsp
Curry leaves: 9-10
Method:
Grind all the ingredients listed under “To grind” coarsely.
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Then add cumin seeds and urad dal. After a few seconds, add curry leaves. Add onions and cook till translucent.
Add cauliflower and green peas, mix and let cook for 2 mins. Add salt and 3-4 tbsp. of water and mix it.
Cover and cook for 5 mins on slow to medium flame.When the vegetables are cooked, add the ground masala, mix it and cover for 2 more mins.
