Ingredients
Long Bean (Chowli / Karamani Payaru) – 200 Gms
Oil – 2 tbsp
Cumin Seed – ½ tsp
Grated Ginger – ½ tsp
Finely Sliced Onion – 1
Finely Sliced Tomato – 1
Red Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
Coriander Seed Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 pinch
Salt to taste
Chopped Coriander Leaves (Cilantro) – 2 tbsp
Roasted and Coarsely Ground Peanut -2 tbsp
Method
Wash and cut the Long Beans into 1 inch long pieces.
Heat the Oil in a pressure cooker. Add Cumin Seeds and allow them to sizzle. Add Grated Ginger and sliced Onion. Sauté till the Onion become translucent.
Add the Long Beans, Tomato and all the dry Masala powder except the coarsely ground Peanut. Stir cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Add ¼ cup of water, Mix well.
Pressure cook for just one whistle in medium flame.
Add Cilantro and Coarsely Ground Peanut.
Mix well and simmer for a couple of minutes.
Transfer to a serving bowl.
