Green Chilli – 2 chopped
Cumin (Jeera) Seed – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil or Ghee – 1 to 2 tbsp
Preparation:
Crush the Green Peas and chopped Green Chilli in a food processor to a coarse consistency. Do not make it as a paste.
In a mixing bowl, take wheat flour, crushed Green Peas with Green Chilli. Add all other ingredients except oil. Mix well.
Knead it into soft dough by adding water little by little.
Take required quantity of dough and make a medium lemon sized ball. Spread little dry wheat flour on a rolling board and place the wheat ball on it and roll it into thin round with rolling pin.
Roast this Parotha in a pan in medium flame. Roast for a minute, rotate it in between.
Flip the Parotha and roast for one more minute.
Apply little oil or Ghee, flip and press with a cloth. Apply Ghee on this side, flip and press with the cloth. Roast both sides till little brown spots appear on the Parotha. Remove to a serving plate.
Done!
Serve hot with Masala Yogurt and pickle.
