Spicy Chili Garlic Potato

Spicy Chili Garlic Potato

Ingredients:

Potato (medium sized) – 3 nos

Oil – 2 tbsp

Garlic -2 tbsp. (Finely Chopped)

Onion – 1½ tbsp. (Finely Chopped)

Chili Powder –2 tsp

Coriander Powder (Dania Powder) – 1 tsp

Cilantro Leaves (Dhania) – 3 tbsp (Finely chopped)

Salt – to taste

Method:

Cook potatoes till 3/4th done. Peel and cut into big cubes

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. When the oil becomes medium hot, add garlic and saute till it becomes translucent. Add chili powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix it well.

Add potatoes and cilantro leaves. Mix gently till all the ingredients coats the potatoes evenly.

Cook for 7 to 8 minutes in medium flame. Toss it frequently so that the potatoes do not burn.

Transfer it to a bowl.

Done!

It is a good accompaniment with Curd Rice, Sambar Rice, and Dal Rice etc.

It is also a good dish for hors d’oeuvres and goes very well with tea, coffee etc.
