As we know, Radish is a root vegetable and its juice has many health benefits. It is said to be especially good in treating kidney stones.  It also acts as a detoxifier. Here we will see how to make a stir fried dish with this Radish.

Green Chilli – 3 (finely chopped)

Curry Leaves – from 1 twig

Grated Ginger – 1 tsp

Turmeric Powder – 1 pinch

Finely chopped Coriander Leaves – 2 tsp

Salt to taste

Method:

Heat the Oil in a pan. Add Mustard Seeds, Urad Dal and Channa Dal.

When the Mustard starts crackling, add the Onion, Grated Ginger, Green Chillies and Curry Leaves. Stir fry them till the Onion becomes translucent.

Add the chopped Radish, Turmeric Powder and Salt. Mix well. Stir cook for a minute. Cover the pan amd simmer for 5 to 6 minutes in low flame – stirring in between. Check whether the Radish is cooked. If not, sprinkle 2 to 3 tbsp of water and continue cooking till the Radish is done and is dry.
