It is summer and also is the season of Mangoes. If one can get hold of sweet mangoes of non-fibrous variety, one can prepare a very tasty Mango Milk Shake. Milk and Mango have their own health benefits. And one can start the day with a very healthy Milk Shake instead of tinned Fruit Juices. It is very easy to prepare and prepared in just few minutes.
Ingredients:
Mangoes -2 (non- fibrous variety)
Milk – 1 cup
Sugar – to suit taste
Ice Cubes – optional
To Garnish (Optional):
Chopped or sliced dry fruits
Finely chopped Mangoes
Method:
Peel and chop the Mangoes. Take it in a blender. Blend it with Sugar and Milk in high speed for few seconds till it becomes a smooth liquid. The amount of milk can be reduced or increased to make the Milk shake thick or thin according to one’s liking.
Add the Ice Cubes and blend for few seconds.
Pour the Mango Milk Shake in serving glasses. Garnish with chopped Mangoes and Dry fruits. Serve chilled.
Note:
1. Use boiled and chilled Milk.
2. We can use Palm Sugar in place of plain Sugar to make it healthier.
3. You can also use Coconut Milk to make it more vegans.
4. Add a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream to make it really tempting for people who loves Ice Creams.
