Mango Milk Shake is a popular delicious drink to make during summer season. I prepare this without adding any additional flavor so that the natural Mango flavor can be enjoyed. Of course, you can add a little Cardamom powder which enhances the taste.
Ingredients:
Ripe Sweet Mangoes – 2 (Alphonso, Kesar or any sweet variety)
Chilled Milk – 1 ½ cups
Ice Cubes – 5 to 6
Honey or Sugar – 2 tbsp (Optional)
Method:
Rinse the Mangoes. Wipe them clean. Peel off the skin and discard. Chop the Mangoes into pieces. Discard the seeds.
Take the chopped Mango pieces, Sugar (or Honey), and half the quantity of Milk in a blender or juicer.
Blend them till smooth. Add the remaining Milk and blend again.
Pour it in glasses and top with ice cubes. The delicious Milk Shake is ready!
Notes:
You can reduce the quantity of Milk to half and use water instead.
You can avoid Sugar or Honey if the Mango is very sweet and enjoy the natural flavor of Mango. You can also add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and blend for additional taste.
Select fully ripened Mangoes for Milk Shake.
