This Chinese Fried Rice is the Indian Version of the most popular Chinese Fried Rice. It is a healthy whole meal containing lot many vegetables. The Soya Sauce gives the tempting flavor and color to this recipe.
Ingredients
Fluffy Par Boiled Rice – 1 Bowl
Gingelly Oil or any other vegetable Oil – 2 ½ tbsp
Garlic (finely chopped) – 1 tsp
Green onion Bulb (finely chopped) -1
Green Chilli – 1 No (Finely chopped)
Beans (finely chopped) – 2 tsp
Carrot (finely chopped)- 2 tsp
Cabbage (finely chopped)- 2 tsp
Capsicum (finely chopped) – 2 tsp
Pepper Powder – ¾ tsp
Soya Sauce – 3 tsp
Salt to taste
Vinegar – ½ tsp
Spring Onion (finely Chopped)- 1 tbsp + 2 tbsp
Preparation:
Heat the Oil in a broad pan. Add Garlic and sauté for 30 seconds in high flame.
Add Onion and Green Chilli and stir cook for a minute.
Add all the chopped vegetables, salt, 1 tsp of Soya Sauce, 1 tbsp of Spring Onion and Pepper Powder. Stir cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add the Parboiled Rice, the remaining 2 tsp of Soya Sauce, 1 tbsp of Spring Onion and Pepper Powder. Stir gently without breaking the rice. Adjust Salt if required.
Mix well so that the Rice and the vegetables are coated uniformly with the masala. Add Vinegar and mix. Garnish with the remaining Spring Onion.
Done!
Note:
Cook this dish in high flame.
Vegetable should become crunchy.
Salt is in Soya also and so, adjust Salt quantity carefully.
The Par Boiled Rice should not have any lump and each grain is separated before use.
