They are generally very easy and quick to make dishes and can be clubbed into the fast food category. We will see one such Sandwich here using Fresh Indian Cheese (Paneer).
Ingredients:
Indian Cheese (Paneer) – 150 Gms
Tomato – 2 Nos (Deseeded and finely chopped)
Finely Chopped Onion – 2 tbsp
Finely Chopped Capsicum – 2 tbsp
Freshly Ground Black Pepper – ½ tsp
Noodle Masala Powder – 1 tsp (It comes with noodle pocket)
Salt to taste
Grated Cheese – 2 tbsp (optional)
Other Ingredients:
Bread Slices – 6
Mint Or Coriander or Mint and Coriander Chutney – as required
Butter – as required to spread and toast
Method:
Take the grated Cheese in a mixing bowl.
Combine all the ingredients and keep aside.
Apply butter on one side of all the bread slices. Spread the green chutney evenly on the other side in three slices. Spread the required Paneer stuffing (prepared initially) on the other three slices.
Cover it with the slices where the Green Chutney has been spread. Press them lightly.
Apply butter and grill in a toaster till the Sandwich turns golden. (If you do not have a toaster, you can grill them in a Dosa Pan/Tawa as well).
Serve with a hot cup of coffee or tea.
Note:
Green Chutney is optional. You can prepare this Sandwich without Green Chutney as well.
