Cilantro Flatbread/Dhania Paratha

Cilantro flat bread is a healthy and flavorful paratha.

Ingredients for the Dough

Wheat Flour – 2 cups

Cilantro (Dhania) Leaves- one small bunch Or Chopped and tightly packed – ¾ cup

Green Chilli – 2 (finely chopped)

Coriander (Dhania) Powder- ½ tsp

Cumin seeds (Jeera) – 1 tsp

Oil – 2 tsp

Salt to taste

Oil or Ghee for cooking Parathas

Preparation:

Clean and collet the leaves and tender stem of Cilantro (Dhania).

Wash it well and squeeze out the water.

Take wheat flour in a bowl. Add other ingredients. Mix well.

Add water little by little and knead it into medium soft dough.

Apply oil on the dough and keep it aside for 20 minutes.

Take a small lemon sized ball from this dough, coat with wheat flour and roll it into a thin roti with a rolling pin.

 

 

Heat a griddle. Once it gets hot, heat the rolled Paratha in the griddle for 30 secs. Flip and heat the other side.

Apply a little Ghee or oil on both the sides and heat again each side (Do not allow to burn.)

 

Done!

Serve with Curd, Pickle or any Gravy
