Method:
Cut the chocolate compound into chips and take the chips in a bowl.
Take the Condensed Milk and Desiccated Coconut in a mixing bowl. Combine them well to form dough like consistency.
Take a small portion of this dough in your hand and check whether it binds perfectly without crumbling into small pieces. If not, add an additional spoon of condensed milk and combine well.
Scoop out a little quantity of this mix and shape it into a bar with your hands. Make more such bars from the remaining mix.
Keep these bars in a tray and refrigerate for an hour.
Let us start preparing the chocolate coating.
Heat the water in a vessel. Place the vessel containing the chocolate chips in it. Take extreme care and ensure that the water does not spill into the chocolate. Start stirring the chocolate with a spatula and keep stirring to ensure that the chocolate does not burn at the bottom. Ensure to keep the flame low or medium and keep the water just boiling. Once the chocolate is fully melted, remove the vessel with the chocolate from water.
Start dipping the Coconut bars (which we have made and kept ready) one by one into the chocolate and coat with the melted chocolate with a fork. Remove and allow the excess chocolate to drain out.
Place the coated chocolate bounty bars in a butter paper or parchment paper.
Refrigerate the bars for 30 to 40 minutes till the bars are set.
Take them out, trim the edges of the bars. You can now store them in air tight containers.
