Aloo Broccoli Dry Curry is another simple and easy to make dish. When you are in a hurry and want to make a dish easily and quickly without too many ingredients, this is a good alternative to have with Roti, Chappati etc.
Ingredients:
Potato Large – 2 (300 Gms – peeled and cut into cubes)
Broccoli – 200 Gms
Oil – 2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds – ½ tsp
Cumin Seeds – ¾ tsp
Green Chilli – 1 (chopped)
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Seed Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 pinch
Garam Masala – ¼ tsp
Amchur Powder – ¼ tsp
Salt to taste
Method:
Separate the Broccoli into florets. Blanch them and keep aside.
Heat the Oil in a pan. Add Mustard and Cumin Seeds and allow them to crackle.
Add Green Chilli and the Potato cubes. Add Salt. Stir cook for 6 to 8 minutes in low to medium flame till the Potatoes are done.
Add the Broccoli. Mix well and continue cooking for a couple of minutes.
Add the Chilli Powder, Haldi Powder, Coriander Seed Powder, Amchur Powder and Garam Masala.
Stir Cook for 3 to 4 minutes till the raw masala smell goes away.
Transfer to a serving bowl. I served this Aloo Broccoli curry with Rice and Drumstick Sambar.
